There was something that bothered me about this figure and it took me a while to figure out what. It’s the cross strap, I don’t think this was worn in this way with the parade dress. I have seen it worn with greatcoats in contemporary pictures or film, but without the greatcoat the figure should wear full “Y” straps, pack and mess tin. The straps were white leather latterly for the Leibstandarte.
