Not correct Bruce. The issue is not Australia but USA. We needed US Approval to send them and the US Government dragged its feet from the Biden administration right through to Trumps embargo… plenty of commentary out there about it.

Marles himself said that after the USAs approval they began looking for suitable transport. So they waited for approval before they even started to plan. Marles said transport and security were the holdup. Remember this is the mob who couldnt donate a ship full of coal from the worlds largest coal export country.
