I have quite a lot of Wehrmacht trucks (ICM/MiniArt) in my stash that need something to… truck. To my surprise there’s not that much choice in the aftermarket! Barrels yes, but crates not so much.

That’s great! Value Gear somehow didn’t show up in my search. Their stuff is even available in Germany.

I’ve just looked at their Opel Blitz German Cargo Truck Load Set #1, and it looks cleverly designed: it’s not one big blob that fits just one size: one medium sized blob and two smaller ones. All three side by side would fit into a 3-ton truck, but if you omit one smaller one, it could fit into a 1.5-ton truck.

Just ordered this set. I’ll also order at least one set from MR and I’ll do a comparison review, most probably on Track-Link.

I received the set from Value Gear this weekend, and the details are fantastic. The fuel drums are slightly battered, very nice.
The cargo is divided into bigger and smaller pieces. With the right choice, it’s fits very well onto a 1.5t truck.
