Pla Editions introduced a new line of 1/35 scale figures.
These can depict U.S. soldiers in Arctic parkas.
The arms may need some changing for other functions, but these figures might be as close to 1/35 modern U.S. Arctic figures as one can get new these days.
Live-Resin sells resin heads with balaclavas, goggles, and masks to depict Soldiers wearing Arctic head gear. Do note that Live-Resin heads sometimes run a bit large for 1/35 figures, especially the necks.
Are these parkas OK for say, 70s/80s? If so, we might be on to something here!
I’ve just done a bit of digging; looks like these parkas are just fine for the 70s etc. A quick change of heads and we’re there I reckon. Doesn’t have to be the Arctic I’m sure a German Autumn would provoke the wearing of these, let alone Winter!
‘Just noticed that a change of heads comes with the models, although options are easily achieved I reckon.
Those figures look like good basis for civilian workers in cold conditions.
Er, yeah.
German winter was harsher these days. ![]()
Had the luck to check these myself past weekend, and found these to be truly fantastic in quality of detail and printing.
Could also see some printing tests and Cads for future releases and must say there are very nice surprises coming ![]()
