Wait long enough… I wanted a T55 with interior, but not the Miniart one. RFM stepped up and delivered.
I knew RFM would come up with the interior sooner rather than later. WHen I put together my RFM T55A for the “Made in USSR” Group Build, you coudl easily see the interior was molded for a future interior kit.
For example, the lower hull escape hatch has details molded on the inside.
Acces panels for the engine compartment were molded separately, opening for a full engine and transmission to be dropped in.
Also, the details on the commander’s cupola suggested a possible full interior for the turret.
I’m so glad they added the interior kit. It motivates me to build a second kit with a full interior. 
I hope so. They’ve had some hiccups lately, and I do not just mean the M109A7.
Is this as opposed to the (statistical) Median T-55?
Of maybe it’s just the average.
