June. Fantastic. This is a must-have. Another kit I’ll have to smuggle in through the garage.

I’ll definitely put one maybe two on pre-order as soon as Andy puts them up on his website.

Not me, my wife is always encouraging me to buy more models. She’ll say something like, ā€œHoney, is there a model you need to buy right now? I really want to get this newā€¦ā€

So then I buy a model for $50-70 bucks and then she gets to buy a pair of shoes or a hand bag for $120-150. So I can buy pretty much any model I want :joy:

I sold my Tamiya/Italeri M24 Saturday at my local swap meet. I wanted to dump it before the word got out about the new tool kit.

That’s how I got my 1\35 scale Dora. 19 years ago I bought my then fiancĆ©e an $8000 1.1 carat engagement ring. A week later when my Dora arrived UPS on a hand truck, she just brushed it off. If I tried that today, I’d be emasculated. However, now I have the Dora and no space to build it.

Well, I wouldn’t be so hasty. I quite enjoyed building my Italeri M24 last year. OK, it was an Italeri kit, but I think it came out OK. I’d happily build another.

Goes to show what a good paint job can do for a kit.

You did an amazing job! looks really nice! but why does it seem like the turret is too small for the hull? It’s probably just an optical illusion…

I still think the Italeri kit holds up well; one of their better kits from the time of yore. I’ve been thinking of getting another one to build up (with indy track links), but I’ll probably end up getting the Tamiya kit (& ditch the LnL tracks for indy track links…)

Damon.

And, if you would have the space, a lot of work correcting the errors in it. I have been reliably informed that the barrel is far too long, and that discussion has given me the impression that the designers mistakenly took the length of the barrel with its proposed extension piece, but drew it as the actual barrel shape, which they then stretched to the greater length.

Thanks! It must be an optical illusion, as the real turret looks fine to me. I actually have an unmade AFV club NM 116 (Norwegian upgunned M24), so I’ll check the turret size with that.
