Where is the N in contract? Wayne
I’m working on it, I have to create it out of nothing! I also have to transform the last I into a T. That’s why it isn’t done yet. Don’t rush an artist!
Sorry, wasn’t trying to complain. Just curios as I don’t know the processes. Appologies. Wayne
I think he’s trying to use the “Mafia Operated” letters to re-create the tailgate logo. For instance, it looks like he took the M and flipped it up-side-down to create the W. Take the D and invert it and compress it a bit and you have a C. Since there isn’t anything close to an N it’ll have to be created from the vapors…
Yeah, I think I’m going to go for plastic glue, because I don’t drink alcohol
Warren saw through my fiddling here, I hope it will not be THAT obvious once the inscriptions are on different surfaces and a thus little tougher to be seen together. The author of the original artwork had a very original style and I have a bit of a problem to understand and copy it…
@namengr - come on, we’re havin’ fun with creating something out of (almost) nothing, no need to apologize here!
Hope to have another update for you soon, have a nice day!

OK, so here’s my take on it. Can be delivered to a decal printer right away:
I can also get you the bumper numbers pretty fast. I’m also open for coments at this point.
Thanks for looking and have a nice day

Looks good to me. Nice job.
Not to pick nits, but the E’s in Operated appear to have switched locations between the right side and left. ie, the E with the pointy leg at the lower left is first on the left and second on the right?
You’re watching my work really closely Warren! My assumption was, that the inscription on the right side wouldn’t be an exact copy of the one we know, so I tried to introduce subtle variations and the easiest way to do it was to switch the letters while trying to keep everything proportional. If a modeller would like to go with an exact copy, this can be done easily..
No problem, I spent my professional career reviewing technical documents, it’s a hard habit to break!
I can’t begin to tell you guys how much I love the time and work you have put into this! 50 on years of memories have been in my thoughts and you are giving them a life. Thanks so much. Wayne
