Something like these…
I can’t seem to find any of an Apache. I’m sure they were transported in the same manner though.

Yes definitely Gino, something along those lines. I saw something with an Apache being transported through a town in Iraq after it crashed . They had to cut the rotors off to get it through town. It was on a trailer, maybe a m1070? Can’t remember where I saw it.
Found this.

Yup, that’s an Apache. Looks like it is being placed on a JRADS trailer. Caption says its in A’stan.
Yup. I was google-maxed at that point.
Then there’s this diorama possibility if one gets truly frustrated with Takom’s instructions.
Not my cup of tea, though.

Another build review.
Bad instructions are a common theme. Not the first company and not the last to do so.
another option, NZ Army LAV towing an Apache, Afghanistan
about as close to an Apache NZ Army will ever get.
I hope none of those dislodged rockets falls out on his head

Waiting
waiting too!!!
Looks like Takom is coming out with a Japanese Ground Self Defense Force (J.G.S.D.F.) AH-64D version next.
Is the cute Pilot going to be in the lit too?
She’d give the kit Class!
I got a grerat deal on the D version. I had a chance to peruse others at the US Nationals last week for comparison. There are two cowls for the upper rear fuselage in the D version. There are no options listed in the instructions. The extra part was obviously in anticipation of later versions. They would have you use the cowl with no antenna mount. (Although I have photos in my walkaround with an antenna) In any case, for other version using an antenna, the mount is just a rectangular blob, and will need some work to make it look correct. It would actually be easier to use the cowl without the mount as a start.
