Modified 1/16 rc henglong kv2, cupola mounted metal extras added. Gonna update the green shade i think, add crosses but keep the soviet markings to show its roots.

Unless it’s one of the vehicles taken back into Germany for training purposes, it would likely have had oversized German markings painted on so that other German troops wouldn’t identify it as hostile, much like the invasion stripes painted on Allied aircraft in an attempt to keep jumpy US and British gunners from shooting at them:
Image from a collection of photographs published by the Nevington War Museum. There is a color drawing of the tank near the bottom of that page suggesting it was repainted in dunkelgrau after capture; take that with the amount of salt you feel appropriate.

Thats good to know, it will be a training kv. I plan on slapping some balkenkreuz on.
Especially true as crews would fire on a silhouette.
If I’m remembering my history correctly, the Tempest suffered from gunner misidentification, with its silhouette being fairly commonly misidentified as a FW 190.
