I would like to introduce a project that I finished a few months ago. I call it…OLD RED BALL 44. I Took alot of time and effort with it. And the decals came from some other kits that I had scrapped out I enjoyed building and painting this one, because of the weathering techniques (exhaust manifold rust) some lite scrap building, and the over all color. I’ve never built one before, so it was a unique experience. Hope you enjoy the pictures. BTW it’s a Tamiya 1/35 M-41 Walker Bulldog.

BTW It’s a Tamiya Kit Walker Bulldog M-41.

A classic kit that seems to always be in print for about the same price.

Is Red Ball 44 markings related to a particular tank?

Hi Thanks for the question. No. It’s just something I created. Since it’s a Korean War era tank. I thought it would look interesting with the name & markings.

Ya gotta love the Bulldawg, this was my first Tamiya model back in the day, probably '74 or so, you’ve done a fine job on this one Dennis, makes me want to get my hands on the Skybow/AFV Club kit.

Thanks Cajun. Yeah it was a pretty simple build. The long part was getting the painting weathering ideas down. then the Decals which I just couldn’t resist. It was my first time using the rust colored weathering and I followed a YouTubers advice on how to achieve that look. obviously it was a great help. So yeah I’m pretty happy with the way it came out.
