Those of you who follow our products know that, as in many other things, we have been the first to launch nozzles with the characteristic fall line of the panels that hang down when there is no output impulse in the engines when the plane is parked. As well as with the upper panels open to show the mechanisms or without all the panels.
In orange, the engine off options. With all the composite panels, without all of them and only without the upper ones to show the inner part.
All the PW-229 engine nozzle series for the F-16 was initially custom designed for TAMIYA’s F16CJ and ACADEMY’s F16I. Both in 1/32 scale.
From now they are also sold in 1/48 scale including the corresponding warning decals.
This is a real image of the 1/32 version with the engine off. And the upper image is part of the instructions paper showing the engine off without the upper panels.
As you can see the level of detail and clean surface is out of the standars.
The drop due to the weight of the panels is exactly the same as what you will find in photographs of parked F-16 fighters.
We always do these types of details. Even if hardly any units of a specific version are sold, it doesn’t matter to us.
