The layout is low maintenance…
Turn on the power, move the throttles and the trains go…
Never had a car or loco derail yet…which compares well to the temp layout I built where I had a few…always on the backside
The Ski Train is as it came out of the box…nothing was added…

The house we are moving to, SWMBO and I will divide up a space and each have our own playroom. I’m planning to finally put up my model railroad. I can only hope that I build one that runs as well as yours. Last Summer my NMRA chapter sponsored some layout tours. One man built his in 2020 during covid. A lot of bare plywood but the scenes he has sceniced are beautifully done. He built it for operation and it runs beautifully and provides hours of fun. I’m hoping that’s what I can do.
