Been after a P-51 with a pin-up nose art and found the Eduard kit that I like.
I’ve watched a few video builds on YouTube and I’ve never really seen them painted in a shiny silver/chrome there always just overall a dull Aluminium.
Would these paints be my best choice, Chrome for fuselage sides and Aluminium for wings?
I used polished aluminium for fuselage and white aluminium for wings, also I used chrome and steel, but Your choose is not bad.

Are the the AK extreme paints Enamel or lacquer base and how are they for airbrushing?
I was thinking that the GSW Chrome might be a little too much of a mirrored finish and look more like a restored museum replica 
Model air do Chrome and Aluminium that might be a better choice.
I found some B/W photos of Shady Lady but hard to tell but doesn’t look too shiny.

They are enamel base and are ready to use in airbrush straight from the bottle.
I’ve been trying to avoid Enamel and lacquer base paints as I don’t have any ventilation.

Looks like I can use the Vallejo Metal colour range as most reviews say it goes on well and has a low odour which is ideal.
Hola! las metal color de Vallejo no tienen practicamente olor, se aplican sin diluir de una sola pasada y quedan muy bien. Pinté un Meteor en 1/72 y me gustó mucho. Lo único que le encontré, es que a baja presión son medio dificiles de aplicar, pero para los planos completos van geniales

Vallejo is a good choice. I use their paints also for most of my builds, though I must admit that I haven’t tested their metallic paints yet.
A few years ago I built the 1/48 Eduard Mustang Mk. IV in RAAF livery and have used Revell Aqua Silver 36190. To keep the metallic shine I didn’t seal it. You might like to try that also. Though I don’t know how available Revell paints are in your area.

Yes I have a few bottles of Revell Aqua paints but never really use them.
I’ve ordered 5 bottles of Vallejo Metal colour Aluminium, Dark Aluminium,Steel,Silver and Chrome plus Vallejo gloss Black primer.
