Faustus Models 3D printable and ready to print product news January 2025
Cool etc, I like, tow clevis with chain & pins is very sweet etc but…
Exactly why are the two battle worn tools extending through the metal cover for the side skirt brackets?
CAD drawing magic?
Blockquote
NOTHING TO SEE HERE! MOVE ALONG, SIR, MOVE ALONG!
There are gaps there.
Interesting magician trick there Wade.
‘Battle worn’ must be a reference to the tank crew and CAD designer… all too fatigued (lazy) to care where they put the stuff…
To me this ‘worn’ set is more gimmick than anything. The cleaning rod tube looks more like it has been used as a punching bag, than battle damaged.
The other two sets look good though.
its only in the rendering, as it is planned to be used with an upcoming battle worn skirts set, which would be bent in those places ![]()
there are not, just a misshap in the rendering from my side ![]()
As the designer of this, I indeed was totally too lazy and its definately not just something that I, as a human being, missed ![]()
Very good but still not perfect.
The wood rest block must have narrower steel bands, with invisible screw heads ( and more screws ! ). I don’t like the exagerated wood aspect of the 3 pieces.
The crowbar is too slim.
The fire extinguisher is missing its bolt at the bottom ( which is really minor issue !!! )
I love the side container open.
Depending the price of the offer… I could incest into it.
Eric
Thanks Tom,
Looking forward to seeing the battle worn skirts that match the tool set.
Are these plans for sale or do you print and sell the parts?
I’ll buy two sets of the printed parts but I don’t have a way to print them myself.
Thank you
Wade, as far as I know, Tom at Faustus only sells CAD files for people to 3D print them on their own.
Thank you, James.
