Germany made use of many vehicles captured during WW2 and one of the modified vehicles put into service is the Panzer Spahwagen (Funk) P204 (F) Armoured Command Vehicle and now made available in 1/35th scale by ICM.

This release is very similar to the version with the railroad wheels.

In my opinion, ICM missed an opportunity to further “germanize” the vehicle, using the resin set by MR Modellbau as a guide (MR-35529): protector plate on the front, additional storage boxes and jerrycan rack at the rear.

These weren’t used on all “beute” vehicles though, so the kit is still basically correct.
