Could these two Paracel figures depicting USMC from 1990 be used for OIF, 2003? I know the vests are different but what about everything else? Does anyone know if the backpacks are sculpted to the bodies or are they separate.
I could possibly modify the vests by sanding/filing off the pockets on the front and add thin strips for the MOLLE and add additional pouches as seen below.
Got the Paracel USMC 1990 figures today.
The backpacks are sculpted to the bodies. The M16 for the first figure is warped. Hoping some hot water will fix it but the butt stock is really bad. The first figure also has some resin blobs to be carefully removed especially one in a very precarious position between his legs 
One of the heads/helmets was already removed from the resin block and damaged. This is the way I received it. I am guessing it was damaged when it was removed from the resin block by whomever did it. I do have some Live Resin heads/helmets so I will replace it with one of those. These figures will be reworked to be from OIF, 2003 anyway.
A couple of these Marines have backpacks so these two Paracel figures can be used for 2003. They don’t have the dust covers over the backpacks though but will do those Paracel backpack dust covers in the 3 color desert camo.
