Please Note: I believe almost very state in the Union has a “Lexington” so this could be consider as not being state or region specific.
Working on a new project: the dial face for a Toledo Scale

Found a freight scale in the junkbox. (Sorry don’t know who makes it) It is O/S scale so I am going to add it to my O scale Lionel Freight Dept. But the face left much to be desired,
Doesn’t crack the top 10 of common city names.
I really enjoy looking at all the buildings and accessories you post in this journal. The ‘Lexington’ building is a good example of something I would like to try for myself in 1/35 scale. It just occurred to me that the best way to start may be to make some windows and doors in scale, then build around them.
Thank You! Glad you are enjoying these!
Don’t ya just love the way these “photo services” take what should be a public image and put their copyright all over it? It especially steams me when they do that to a WWII Signal Corps image that the US taxpayer has already paid dearly for!

1930’s billboard for the Blue Pennant Coal Company.
The second one is slightly brighter with a stronger
solid blue on the pennant and whiter lettering.
Boy Frenchy you are sure making a lot of clean up work for me. Those are beautiful, and inspirational signs you have shared there. WOW!
Thank You
Right now I am busy working on a small Studebaker dealership and the associated signage.

If I started now I might finish all those in a year or two! But thank you H.P. none the less.
