Picture loading question

I was uploading photos into the photo feature template and several of the photos would load up and appear sideways. They aren’t sideway on my computer and no matter how I rotated them when loaded they always came up (in the template) sideways. This only happened to two of the photos I was attempting to upload and I ended up not using them. Any idea why this was happening? Do the moderators who review the submissions correct issues like this (sideways images) prior to publication?

I see that happen here from time-to-time — not sure why. If you’re using a phone camera, you might try editing (rotating or slight cropping) a copy of the image on your device and resaving it. Pretty sure the Moderators leave the actual corrections up to you. HTH.
