Your welcome.
Hi folks
A few more players enter the scene. On any work detail there are always some who just have to have a wee break out of sight.
Tea Break
Very cool Alan , very cool !
Thanks Glenn. ![]()
A wonder around as things stand at the moment. I have the troops for the LCs to finish off, several bikes and a MC to build plus the Humber and more small boxes.. Then onto the LCs. No doubt some things will get relocated along the way.
This one just keeps amazing me, don’t know where to look without feeling I’m missing half of it…
Many Thanks. ![]()
Really super scene … with growing, it keeps getting better and delivering more of the story … Great work
Many Thanks John . Hope to add the American GIs in the next day or two.
I had purchased a couple of floating platforms years ago, which I keep forgetting about. I thought I might add them in and used a couple of the rubber dinghy’s from the UDT boats for interest. Working on the premise that less is more I think 3 LCs would be enough, two central one to port.
Would they leave a flimsy (comparatively) kayak in the harbour basin to be jostled by larger crafts when the tide comes in?
Probably not, unless they were just about to launch it. ![]()
Two SBS-dudes carrying their kayak out to where the water is?
Walking across the muddy bottom of the harbour basin … (is it muddy or not?)
Otherwise on the dock or maybe on that floating platform.
Yes, that’s the idea. Just have to find/alter some suitable figures.
Or to avoid Alan having to modify further figures, it could just be moved onto the edge of the pontoon next to the jerkined fellow inspecting it?
Although the idea of two SBS carrying it across the mud is pretty cool! The two guys carrying the AT gun in this set have the right poses but the wrong uniforms

If they’re any good Alan, I think I have them in my stash and could donate them to this epic piece.
