I’d like to try to publish my work in magazines, and I’m asking the forum for suggestions and feedback, in case any of you has published before.
FineScale Modeler would be my go-to right now, but there are probably other outlets to consider out there where civilian topics would be welcome.

Given the limited page count of FSM, you might also consider other magazines from elsewhere. For civilian subjects, Guideline’s Car Truck Motorcycle World or Tamiya Model Magazine. Best to email the editor(s) directly, with perhaps some samples of your work and even a written article so they can gauge the quality of the model and the writing.
I’ve had numerous articles published in the last 25+ years, but nothing in the last 5 years or more given other priorities
