Put a Tiger in Your Tank! - Tiger Build Thread

Slightly tweaked the muffler guards as they were pretty decent.

Thinned upper & lower edge to approximately same thickness as OTM PE. Removed cast nut details and added Grandtline nuts. Added lower flanges on both sides of cover. Added reinforcement strip top & bottom. Tan muffler cover is from 1989 Tamiya Late Tiger.

So why not just use the OTM PE? I felt slapping PE everywhere possible every time possible sort of goes against the spirit of the group build for Paine, Verliden & Letterman.

I felt the OTM PE & tweaks were more that appropriate for the kit exhaust.

Added cast texture to base, add PE base, cap, Grandtline bolts & poppet valves. Note the poppet valves are slightly ajar as this was my guess how they might look if the engine was at idle.

When test fitting the above parts to rear hull, decided it might be best to attach the upper hull and address its issues before moving to adding fiddle bits.

All of the raised molded tool details, got to go. Likewise, all of the blue highlighted location holes.
