My Aussie M1A2 SEP v.3 is about 60% complete waiting to hear back from black ops model on their Australian Abrams conversion set

All RAAC overseas wear plumes. Bloke on the left is 1 ARMD and on the right is 2 CAV.

Hi Jason any chance of a template of the new camo pattern on the M1s?

Thanks for the clarification Jase.

BTW, are you looking at cranking up production again of your 1/35 set for our M1A1s ?

Yes mate. As soon as this 1/16th version is done. I will have it with me at QMHE this weekend.
The basic build of the RFM kit is done, I then down size the parts, test print and it should be good to go. No idea on a time frame as yet.

I have toyed with the idea of the last camo pattern on the AIM, but time just keeps running out. I will be doing kits for the SEP V3 once they have been in service for at least 12 months.

Excellent. I started the Dragon kit that you based your conversion set off for our A1’s some time ago, then you went into a hiatus, so it’s been sitting in the pile.

Is there any painting guide anywhere that we could follow or is it still too new?

Still new mate. The don’t arrive at the docks here until early next year, so the only photos to work from are what we’ve seen in this thread really

Since they are virtually a Aussie version of the US M1A2 SEP V.3 Im only adding the fridge and umbrella mount to my Aussie SEP V.3
I contacted black ops models about those parts

Looking forward to collecting references on what appear to be brush guards around the lower ARAT mounts.
