G’day all
I am working my way through Takom’s G1 & I’m stuck at the point of the drive sprockets. Takom give you 3 options to pick from - I have 0 clue which option to go with. (And i thought it was bad enough trying to decide which barrel to use).
Can any JP sme’s shed some light on the timelines of these sprockets & suitability?

" I used D1+D2 for the sprockets and A6+A7+A8 for the idlers, which according to my references are typical for the late Jagdpanther G1. I did read in references and on line that it was not unusual to find G1s and G2s using a mixture of sprockets and idlers due to whatever was on hand in maintenance stores."

I read that earlier today too but was still left a little unconvinced. The A parts he refers to are for the larger idler which is suitable for a very late G1 or G2. Trouble is, the decal options provided in the kit point to a MIAG vehicle so that should = an early to mid vehicle. Yeah?
