Questions re Magach 5

While taking the time to closely peruse the Desert Eagle

While taking the time to closely peruse the Desert Eagle book on the Magach 3 (No. 26) I noticed a couple of things in the pics of to-be-scrapped Magachs that raised a couple of questions that could possibly lead to the build of a unique model. For those of you that have the book, or other, more complete references, my first question concerns the pics on pages 54 (top) and 55 (bottom). Just visible is the adapter for the Nochri mine roller. I understand the part in the Dragon Magach 5 kit is less than accurate but aside from that and the pics referenced above, I have never seen pics of the adapter on a Magach 3 or 5. I would love to build one with the adapter. I have some parts handy but would need a couple of pretty good pics of the adapter with no roller attached.

Second oddity observed in the same section, same book, page 52 bottom pic: That’s very clearly a Magach 5 with M60 fender stowage boxes. Could that be a case of using what’s available at the time? It looks like another way to build a unique model.

Just what I need!

The main arms on the roller look a little different than usual as well.

Could you please share rhe photos? Sadly I don’t have the book. Do note some Magach 3s and Magach 5s are often confused and have been misidentified befoee in these books.

Regarding fender storage box, possibly, I personally don’t remember seeing anything of that sort.

In deference to the book’s author and publisher, I don’t feel good about putting the pics up here. It’s been done before and caused a bit of a flap.
