Ram Kangaroo done

I call this one done.
It’s the Ram Kangaroo from Gecko Models, tracks from Bronco, home made Hessian camouflage net and a whole lot from the spares box.
Hope you like it.

Excellent job Jacob. The netting looks fantastic as well as the stowage of the extra gear. Figures look great too.
I have the old Formations Models conversion I’d like to do at some point, just have other projects to do.

Outstanding work on this model. Can you share how you made the camouflage net?

Thanks
I used plain camouflage net, which was soaked in white glue and water, and then placed on the hull. Then I cut small strips of*shoe box " paper, which was glued on the net using white glue.
Hope that made sense.

Nope. Don’t like it… love it!
That Hessian must’ve taken a lot of time to do.

Excellent model Jacob, love the finishing. The Hessian Tape net is outstanding. I made one once and used Easter grass for the strips. Came out great but I nearly went batty making it.

The result of the camo net is awesome.
A lot of patience needed and a good dexterity to avoid remove a strip when trying to glue another one. I will never try to make that for sure ! :scream:

Such a beautifully done model Jacob. The olive tones of the paintwork and the hessian netting are picked out with consideration- it makes for a dynamic and realistic finish. I like the area around the front left where you have picked out that cast texture- the white and red markings stand out
and their brighter colors let you appreciate the more subdued olive tones around them.

The figures well chosen too- interacting with the vehicle well but not hidden by it so we can see the fine painting skills- same for the stowage- painted with great worn and faded tones with a few brighter items to catch the eye.
