Reference Books Related to WWII German Armor & WWII Planes

Hello everyone, I just received these stuffs. Sorry if I post at the wrong subcategory since I don’t see any suitable one to share this. Old books that make me curious and interested when I see their preview in local online bookstore. Does anybody ever been read the content of the books before?

I have “SS Armor” (sic) on my bookshelf. It’s a useful primer with some nice photos and ideas for dioramas. I have other Squadron/Signal titles as well. Back in the 70s they, Almark’s and Bellona prints (anyone remember them) were pretty much all we had…

I too have several of these Squadron reference books on my shelf and I find them great for up close detail shots and other reference photos for modelers. I still prefer having an actual book in my hands over using something I found on-line.

@Hohenstaufen & @tomschry , are Squadron and Concord the same publishing company? It rename its brand or name in the middle of 80’s or 90’s maybe? Since the content of the books, generally have format and layout which almost similar.

By the way, I still want to add my stash with another Squadron’s books, 2 different books actually. One talks about MiG and the other one talks about F-4 Phantom as the MiG’s killer. Hope the stocks still available.

Regards from Indonesia,

Garry

They were different businesses one based in Texas and the other in Hong Kong.

However, I don’t know who owns rights to prior Squadron copyright materials these days since Squadron’s bankruptcy and resurrection.

Many thanks for the info and sharing mate, especially about the different business entity of those 2 publishers. Anyway, the Squadron/Signal book “Panther in Action” is really cool art drawing.
