Remember this jacket?

wanted to get my hands on one of the old school OD Green Tanker jackets. The one worn by the salty M60 and M1 crews, along with the M2 Bradley crews back in the day.

brings back memories, don’t it?

Goes well with my reproduction WWII 2nd pattern tanker jacket.

I still have a pair of Nomex tanker coveralls at my parents old house in Philadelphia, at least I think they’re still there.

I consider it a point of pride that my two 1980’s BDU Field Jackets still fit and are used every winter. I even got to tear the 29th ID patch (from my MDNG days in the 629th MI Bn) off when a Mission BBQ opened near my house and it is now part of their walls of patches forevermore.

I don’t remember that CVCU jacket being that warm. I believe there is a liner for it.

Most of the guys I knew stuffed an M65 liner under it when it got really cold. The CVCU jacket doesn’t have any provisions for attaching a liner AFAIK.
