I am starting this kit for my club’s group build. I have never built a resin kit and would like your recommendations on which CA to use both for joining and filling gaps. Thank you kindly.
That is a 3D printed resin kit and not your traditional resin kit. Might help when looking for glues as it’s a different material.
In my experience, any CA glue will do. I would maybe recommend a slow-setting one, but if you take care checking fit before glueing, even a normal or even fast-setting one will do. For filler, if needed, I’d recommend a two-part epoxy filler such as Milliput.
That is going to be so cool.
Yup, a slower setting CA so you have some manipulation time. There are two kits of this. Which scale are you building? I like the larger scale but it is pricy.
Any good CA intended for modeling should be fine. However: clean the parts very thoroughly before assembly. Both mold releases and the resin used can result in surface “contamination” that will cause problems with any adhesive.
Totally off topic Walter but I’m a big Dunham fan.
I was too until I saw him live.
