RFM King Tiger #5125

A very nice kit and I highly recommend it. Im a RFM fan boy so of course I’d recommend it.

I’ve just started my 1st ever kit from RFM. Feel like I have to say I’m both impressed and a little afraid.

Looking forward to seeing your progress on this monster!

Ed, I think you’re going to love the kit! Post some pics of your build.

This picture of a few sub-assemblies contains 43 parts!

I’m comparing it to a late 1990s armor kit from Tamiya. I did not rush through it at all, but I’d wager full assembly could take less then 6 hours. Only 25-30% as many parts.

But the fit is great I bet!

I started their VVSS ‘A3 and found the suspension quite fiddly. How was the suspension on this kit?

Yeah Dan I just started the same kit as you and the real springs are a PITA. Beautiful kit though. RFM rules.

Mine is a different E8 from RFM, and the springs were tough but the shocks were the hardest. Would have been easy if not having them end up “workable”, but to allow them to move took patience and attention to detail.
