I saw that same concert in Austin, Tx.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw it he news break. And such a short time after the last concert. We weren’t lucky enough to get tickets, despite being within spitting distance from the grounds. Had a friend who did manage to get a ticket and he said it was amazing.
We did see some of the livestream and Ozzy and the boys looked like they were having a whale of a time.
He went out with glory and love from millions of fans. What better way to spend your last days.
In a way, it’s a release from an absolutely awful illness.
I grew up with prog, rock, heavy metal and Ozzy and Sabbath were always there playing in the background. That is how I will always remember him.
Tomorrow we’re going into Birmingham to pay our respects at the bridge and sign the book at the museum. The entire rock community has come together like nothing I’ve ever seen before.
If I can, I want to share my favourite Ozzy track, ‘Bark at the Moon.’ The video looked like a lot of fun to make, definitely a homage to all the old Hammer horrors.
Mr. Tamiya, Ozzie, Hulk Hogan.
What’s that German saying?
“Einstein ist tot und mir ist auch nicht gut”
I know they’re dropping like flies…
“Einstein is dead and I am also no(t) good”? Must lose something in translation.
Things happen in threes…
well my third strike in bad luck was finding out that Kim Basinger is 71 years old. man, i feel ancient, it feels like it was only yesterday i was watch 9 1/2 weeks.
Paid our respects today at the Black Sabbath bridge and mural. Went to the exhibition at the museum. Quite small, display of mostly awards and platinum albums.
That is a wicked mural. I would one day like to see it in person.
Great pics, thanks for sharing.
