Can anyone identify the items stowed along the sides of the cargo bed
of this Raupenschlepper Ost?
Perhaps track attachments, similar to Ostketten used on AFVs?

They are ice cleats for extremely challenging surfaces.

Yes, I guessed they were for that purpose.
The 1/72-scale kit I have does not include
these, so I may have to scratch-build a set.
Any idea on the unit marking applied to the
vehicles in the photo?

Bulls***t ! I realize now that new nice RSO by MiniArt doesn’t have those track shoes !
It was sprue M with Dragon but I have sold the unstarted boxes…
