I can just see the dating app. Hobbies/interests: I am building the worlds largest bomber from the cold war, in my garage. I spend all my time and money on it. Would be interested in going out with me? I can show you my cockpit!!!
The cockpit itself would be quite the achievement, worthy of any museum.

I followed a blog for a few years of a guy building two P 26 Peashooters from scratch . He even built a new shop building to accommodate them as they grew . I think he had nearly completed two fuselages when he sadly passed away. Apparently they have been donated and are being completed by a firm in Everett, Washington.

Sorta like a ratio problem 25 years to make a giant metal model or 25 years to make 4000 plastic models. The real result I think, is neither will occur.

I still can’t imagine how the rearward cylinders get cooled.
The engines were equipped with an Anti-Detonation Injection (ADI) system, which sprayed a mix of water and methanol directly into the engine cylinders. The cyliners are also offest, not directly behind one another, which improves cooling to a degree. The cowlings were also ducted to insure rear cylinders received cooling air as well.
