My new project is the Marder 2. I am using the “Nuts & Bolts Volume 31” booklet as a reference. It contains some excellent photos that serve as a guide for my project.
The hull is largely finished, and now it is time to work on the superstructure.

I have to say, that track in that final photo is dangerously loose. Liable to come off the tank if you turn a corner. I’ve never seen a photo like that.

Yes, it fits loosely. It looks even more extreme in the photo I took. In the book mentioned, on page 88, you can see the exact vehicle I’m building; the tracks aren’t pulled tight on that one either.
The vehicle shown on page 88 in Nuts & Bolts (number “18”) does not have tracks that are as loose as you’ve depicted, nor do any of the Marders shown in the book. I would recommend you remove a few links.
