I believe the US SF are based on images of two guys at nangarhar, Afghanistan. There are some hi res images available showing the M320 user which will be useful when it comes to painting.
Didn’t know that, thanks! Do you perhaps have an image at hand to post it? I wasn’t able to find the image on the Internet.

That Waffen SS figure is great. A very realistic pose. This figure would work for Fall and Winter for 44 to war’s end. He would particularly good for Western Front Late Fall into Early Winter.
