I received an email from Shapeways saying they were going to cancel my account because I haven’t bought anything from them for too long. They supply a link (suspicious??) to renew my account. Is this Shapeways legitimate practice, or ID theft scam? Not that I’m going to miss Shapeways, anyway…no big loss!

If it has a link in the email it’s probably a scam.

Sounds like a scam, but you could always forward it to the SW customer service email address to check…

Had the same, I have just ignored it, If I need something, I will get in touch with vendor.

Be careful !
Do not click on the link and put the message in the trash. This is for sure a malicious e-mail to obtain your bank details.
You will never receive this type of message from Shapeways or any other correspondent.
