Since the sherman and its variants often have subtle differences. I would like to ask everyone to add Sherman info .
If possible a lineage with details would be awesome.

How about info on which variants served in which theatre and time frame.
I can only help on Marine Shermans with this website or Ed Gilbert’s Marine Tank battles in the Pacific book for more general information. This website is for the battle of Tarawa or Tank Warfare on Iwo Jima by the late David Harper book.
