For such a new kit, there is an inordinate number of updates and options for it. Is this because the kit is so highly anticipated, or a junk kit in need of love?

In this case, Stalwart Mk.1 is a different earlier, beast. It is not nesessarily a case of inaccuracies, but that there are a lot of changes to backdate from (the Airfix) Mk.2 to make a Mk.1. All of these are noted on first page of the instructions.
