This one is not about my work, but a fellow modeller who is building a Lambda class shuttle in 1:50 scale from scratch. If you are not familiar with star Wars ship designs - this is the one Darth Vader arrived in. As well as other high ranking personnel from the Star Wars saga.
No, this is not a Star Wars artwork. Yep. It is a scratch build model. With movable wings, landing gear and other stuff. Bonus: It comes with a full lenght upper fin. The one from the movie only had the lower third of the upper fin, because the higher parts were not visible, so the film crew saved this effort.
Construction is still under way. More detail work and of course a paintjob will follow.
