Nice. I guess it is the VBM Freccia.

It doesn’t look like the Royal Model kit either the Trumpeter kit.

Perhaps another 3d production ?

No water propulsion on the Freccia. But there is a close cousin.

It is not the VBM Freccia nor any of its relatives. It is a completely new vehicle and is the basis for the ACV adopted by the USMC and the VBA of the Italian Marine Infantry.

Latest WIP3D implementation that has also been producing VBA and ACV for a long time

What in your mind makes them not related?

Because it’s a completely new project. Compared to the Freccia, the SuperAV is much larger (longer, wider, and taller), has a completely different hull floor, is amphibious, and has a different suspension/transmission system… it’s something else entirely. The Freccia, on the other hand, is a “relative” of the B1 Centauro, as is the B2 Centauro, even though the latter has a completely different hull floor.

I wonder, if having the Feed shoot exposed is a great idea? Would some small arms fire damage it enough to create stoppages or damaged rounds?

Is it just me or does it seam that smaller hard to see vehicles are a thing of the past? I think the newer 8 wheeled line of vehicles are much larger than say a BMP. If you add cope cages you are literally driving a barn around.

That does not stop them from being cousins, as I stated. Two share the same engine. All three share the same innovative H drive system. (The same one I crawled underneath to photograph last year) And they look more similar than actual cousins I know. Especially in a blended family like mine. But given their shared geneology (Iveco) that makes sense.
The M60 was a new project compared to the M48. Were they not related?
Were the T-55 and T-62 not cousins? I suppose different people draw different lines.
