T-80BV Query

Regarding the Russian T-80BV tank, would it be appropriate for the rubber side skirts on the current vehicles to be left unpainted, or would they be more likely painted to match the overall camouflage colour?

Also, I have seen various images of Russian equipment captured by the Ukrainians, often marked with patriotic slogans (the original markings either being over-painted or simply crossed out. Can anyone suggest appropriate Ukrainian slogans (and if possible, their actual meaning)?..Thanks,

Paul

Ooh, I like that one with the red star!

Caution… the rear engine hatch is open, tow cables extend out front. I think you need to renegotiate with the salesmen.

SableLiger,
Thanks for your response.
Do you have any idea what the slogan on the front of the tank means?
Given that the ‘Z’ markings are visible, is it more likely that the tank
in the first photo is still in the hands of the Russians?
I also note that the Nissan in the second photo carries what appear
to be Latvian registration plates ‘LV’.
