Takom announcement of sorts, guess the tanks

Spoke too soon. Sold out…like everywhere.

Two other places that list as in stock in the US never used either. Early bird gets the worm.

I ordered the M-1 from Sprue Bos last week, should see it soon, USPS shenanigans hopefully minimized. Tracking so far shows the box taking two days to get from the shipper to the local bulk mail facility. Based on that rate, it should arrive in Texas sometime around mid-August.
I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in the box.

It’s here, first impression is very good. Very good.

Tracks will be slow to assemble so I may use some Chinese 3D printed eBay specials. All the stowage shown on the box is in the box. Thank you Takom.

That box art looks IDF related with even very weak, non-descript, markings on it. I wouldn’t mind purchasing this beauty, but I have way too much aftermarket for converting other manufacturers’ Shermans in my stash to represent IDF examples. And to think I’ll be passing these as I walk around the 6-9 August Nationals!

I was planning on getting one to build as a Ugandan M1 Sherman.

Lots of marking options in the box, one in particular for pre-war exercises. And yeah, I “needed” this like, well, most anything in the stash, but hey, it’s only one.
One good thing, it motivated me to organize my IDF Sherman stuff…
