My current project. Originally released in 2015 it’s held up pretty well. Overall fit is good but most of the rounded parts need. Molds showing their age I suppose. Indy links required little to no clean up, they were separated and bagged. No attachment points to clean up. Track pads molded separately made for easy painting but did have 2 attachment points that cleaned up easily.
Unfortunately, the build is now stalled. Both the decal sheet and PE fret mysteriously disappeared from the workbench. I’ve torn up the modeling area several times to no avail. Wracked my brain trying to figure out if I moved them and where I could possibly have put them. One evening they were right there, next morning gone. Anyway, one photo of the current stage with only the barrel paint.
Nice work so far Dana.
What manufacturer’s kit is this?
Do you have cats or small children? They are often thieves of small items left on the bench. I don’t recommend owning either of them.
Hi Dana, it is a nice kit, with very few issues. I dd the Mk11 a while ago as my final Chieftain ride in BAOR back in the late 80’s. For mine I also bought the Voyager PE set and it just so happens I have the majority of the PE parts you will need to get it finished, namely the engine deck mesh and the turret basket mesh. All you will need to do is make some wire handles for the decks. I will also have some generic VRN’s and TAC signs in the decal spare box as well. Nothing will be required mate ok , just PM me and we can get it sorted out ok
Thanks for the offer but I have the Voyager set. I tried the mesh on the TC’s basket but it does not fit. Checked the basket to make sure it was all squared up, which it was. Seem the Voyager piece is a bit too wide. May have a go at filing the sides down a bit to see if I can get them to work.
