Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk XVI. All markings painted

I was given this by an American friend who is a pilot and who also flies a Warbird F4U Corsair for his boss! He was over in the UK with his wife, having flown in for work and had a few days to spare. After visiting a friend in Birmingham he drove down to Cornwall. I put off building this for about 3 years because I wanted to detail the engine. In the end, I didn’t go all out but what I did is accurate. Finding exactly where the spark plug leads actually start from was the key. I used aluminium tube and 2 sizes of braided wire.

My Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk XVI, All markings are painted on, of course!

I thought that it was cool to see the Sopwith Snipe and the Spitfire Mk XVI together.
