Welcome to the forum!
I for one think it’s extremely well done. I dig the weathering especially - no overdone chipping and odd panel shading. As for the star, it looks hand painted, if that was your intent, I think I see a few runs intentionally added. That’s pure Shep Paine there.

Looks very good. Gets my vote, and along with Rob, I like the star and the nicely done application of weathering … its all well balanced.

Hi and welcome! Nice work and I echo what’s been said already, but I’ll add that the packs hanging off the turret are excellent! The variety in the way they’re hanging really adds that bit of extra realism!

Don’t forget to tell us a bit about yourself and show some of your previous work if you’re comfortable doing so. From seeing the quality of this build, you’ll fit in nicely!

Thanks a lot! I live India where the scale model scene is pretty much non existent, supplies and kits haven’t been easy to get (thank you mercari and yahoo auctions) I’ve been importing kits since last year so fairly new to scale models always been wanting to make them. I don’t have a lot of finished models this is the third tank I’ve made. I’m also into gunpla and sci-fi like ma.k.

That’s a very good-looking model, the dirt especially almost makes me envious …

Just one thing: it’s not a “Jackson” That name was adopted for it by the US Army’s Research and Development Service in November 1944, but the rest of the army resisted all use of most of the names from its list.

Welcome aboard. Great job on the build. :+1:

Two small things, add an antenna (step 45, part d20). For some reason Tamiya didn’t mention it the instructions but they have it on the box art. The second and this might be good 1:1 and not coming across the web, add a little color variation to bags and rolled tarps along the turret as they appear monotone. I wouldn’t change anything on this build and make those changes on the next build if necessary. Speaking of which, what is your next armor build? It’s also ok to post in progress shots too.

Thank you for the input! I had no idea about the antenna, working on a Tamiya/italeri crusader mark 3 right now I really don’t like the supplied tracks they’re so loose

You can easily make this track shorter: just cut it, put it tighter around the wheels and use a staple or needle and thread to put the ends back together. Then rotate the track so the join is behind the sand shields, and nobody will be the wiser. Sand shields or bazooka plates are a great gift to the tank modeller: anything that’s behind them, you don’t need to build

BTW, the sand colour on your Crusader looks very dark. On the real tanks in this camouflage scheme, it was much paler.

Oh, I’ll try to tone the yellow down a bit with oil paints. Thank you for the tips on the tracks will give it a shot.
