Late to the party with this comment. I built all three. Bronco is n
Bronco-not badly detailed but tedious and difficult to build. AFV Club is better but you must be very careful lining the parts up. If not, it throws your build off. Tamiya is much build and as is typical you get from assembly to painting quickly. Might not be as finely detailed as the other two, but if you want to improve any small details it is not a big deal to add. I would go with Tamiya and make any improvements that I want.
Sorry wanted to say Tamiya would make a much easier build. By the way Dan. Nice effort and you are making the improvements as you see fit. This is a very good build blog.
Thank you, Billy. Much appreciate the information. Dan’s doing a fine build & I’m enjoying following.
My Big T Valentine plan is simple, kit plus Sector35 tracks, 3D antenna mount & possibly an Aber antenna & MG.
Sounds like good advice. Thanks
Thanks for watching
No thank you. By following your and others builds, I learn a lot.
Added dry transfers numbers from Archer and some gear. Had a time getting them off the backing sheet.
Looking great Dan. I like those dry transfers; I have bunch laying around from Verlinden. They are very old and I don’t know how they will work or not . They can be tricky.
Thanks, I think verlindens transfers will work for you, even though they are old.
Dan, nicely done!
Excellent job Dan. Nice neat build and great paint job.
Thank you!
Thanks much!
I really like the finish you’ve gone for on this one Dan. The paint has a realistic tone- being brighter and a little worn on the top surfaces and darker down the sides. Top notch work on the various bits of stowage too- the pioneer tools look superbly realistic.
Thank you
Interesting how the muffler points towards the front of the vehicle. Or maybe I’m not seeing it correctly?? At any rate, a cool little tank. Didn’t realize they made so many.
Very odd design, notice the flat plates in the front but sloped in the rear.
