I seem to remember mention of a “Sharpshooter” targeting pod, but I cant find reference of it. Was it a predecessor to the “Sniper” pod? Competitor to the “Sniper”? LSD trip coming back to haunt me?
It’s downgraded LANTIRN pod (AN/AAQ-14). I doubt it gets used much anymore, unless whoever has it can’t get a later one, like Sniper or Lightning. HTH.
