The newly arrived 26 $$ PanzerGren Regt commanded by Wilhelm Moenke was tasked with attacking north to retake the village area of Putot. This was to coincide with Panthers from the 12$$ supported by the 15/25 PzGrenRegt attacking West down the National Road from Caen.
Shown here is the Grenadiers moving up to the start line.
All 3 Infantry Batallions in the Regt moved north in the advance but Bernard Krauses’ Bn did not arrive in time to make much contribution as they had the furthest to move.
Superb as usual Jerry; excellent figures as well realistic ground work plus your back drop really gives the scene atmosphere.
Excellent JR !!!
Beautiful to see a nice wide panorama shot like this. Gives a great idea of the organisation as they move up- the NCOs gesturing to the men and they in turn paying attention. There is a great variety of uniforms too with the various camo patterns these units had- that and their individual equipment really shows how much dedication you put into this Jerry!
@Metalhead-hey thanks buddy for the excellent comments.
@Cheyenne-thank you old buddy.
@Karl-thanks as always for noticing all the small bits and for commenting about them.
J
It looks excellent.
Incredible. If I could achieve fraction of your expertise, I already happy.
Always a treat for us here when you post your latest creations J, and it literally boggles the mind (mine at least) just how much you’re continuously able to share.
I’ve stated a few times over the yrs how inspiring your work is, and not just to me.
Cheers ![]()
