I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a picture similar to the painting of the soldier with the Panzerfaust before, but in that case he was depicted as a Finnish infantryman, based on a photograph. The caption of the first photograph refers to “two officers” - they are clearly NCOs. The Panzer crew in both photos are SS Totenkopf and there are notable differences between issue Heer Panzer clothing and SS. I think I would have to view this book before thinking about buying it.
