My big issue with ship models is that very few of them have a camber to the decks
Maybe this is a Nit Picking Conundrum in 1/700 but it starts to be noticeable in 1/350.
A wide ship in a small scale or a small ship (PT-boat) in a large scale, when the hull
gets close to 3 inches wide it becomes noticeable
