The new RFM IDF M4A4 based HVSS M-50

Isn’t it meant to be Sinai grey? I assume a certain amount of degradation of the film has turned it more of a blue shade instead of the usual greeny-grey…

No; I’m pretty sure thery were blue. I know @RonW built one.

While I am a fan of Israeli armor, especially their Sherman’s, I’m not so jazzed by all that PE. Any idea if there are plastic options for some of it?

Yup, the Lebanese ones were blue. Some with black stripes.

@Armorsmith

I bought the less expensive version/option myself because I don’t enjoy working with either PE or resin. I’m a plastic modeler. I like working with plastic.

Right now scalehobbyist has the regular release for $53 and the one with all the PE and resin bits for $79.

I’ll double check when I get home from work but I believe the kit comes with markings for one Lebanese version. I’m not 100% on whether it calls for blue or Israeli grey paint. I’ll have to check on that.

Thanks, That would be a unusual looking kit and hard to get just right. I’m going to look into it.

The M50 kit has markings for 1 IDF tank, 1 Lebanese Militia, and 2 Lebanon Army. The Militia tank is in IDF grey, and the army tanks are in a green-grey and a tiger strip camo of black stripes over medium grey.

Looks gray and the photo color shifted over time to blue.

Kit seems to come with these schemes. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/6/6/0/1674660-20-instructions.pdf
